Day 2004

 I woke up at 6 (really 7 given we've been living in Mtn time).  I played games for awhile and then got up for pet stuff.  We were planning on eating breakfast with Dan at 9:30,  so no breakfast.

I did some surfing and then went to check the battery charger.  It hadn't done anything.  It thought the battery was dead.  So I took it off and put the other one on set to "recondition".  That's supposed to take 24 hours.

I got talking to Steve.  We had a good conversation.  He lent me a couple of old style chargers.  I tried them both, and neither worked, probably because they were old and didn't work anyway.  I put the recondition charger back on.

By then it was 9:30.  We went to Dan's, but he wasn't there.  So we ate breakfast alone.  After that I got parts to fix the pantry shelf.  We went home and I fixed it.  After that I put the DirecTV antenna together.  Ellen spent a couple of hours trying to get a signal and couldn't.  I think we need some sort of signal detector.

The nav system in the truck had quit working again.  Ellen got on the web.  The advice was clean the antenna.  That it got it to work.

We gave up about 2:15 and went to see Dan.  I stopped to check the battery on the way.  It was still reconditioning.

Patsy was there.  We stayed until about 5.  Dan had a great time reminiscing about his shooting days.  We were his attentive audience.

We left to go home for dinner.  Dan went to walk the dogs.

We had pizza for dinner.  After dinner was games and some surfing on the tablet.  We used 1.5 Gb on the MIfi yesterday.  We can't afford to use more than 1 Gb per day.
