We got up a little after 7:30, did the pet stuff and had breakfast. Then it was outside to hook up the trailer. All of that went well. I didn't look at the clock when we left.
We only had 300 miles to go. The trip went without incident and we got 10 mpg. We filled up in Pendleton even though I think we could have made it all the way to Baker City.
Unhooking gave us a little problem. The handle wouldn't latch. I had to hold it while Ellen drove the truck forward. Other than that it went well. I even got the sewer hooked up. It turns out Dave Artoff is next door to us.
When we were finished I went over to the storage area and put the battery in the Bronco. That took a while because I didn't have the right tools. Also the battery holder doesn't really hold the battery well. I got it in though. When it was in the Bronco started right up. I immediately took it over to the gas station and filled it up. $4.45/gal. It was $40 for 8.5 gallons of gas.
I took the Bronco on a short jaunt to ix up the fuel. It ran pretty good. When I got back Dan and Patsy were there. We sat at Dave's table and talked until 6. Then everyone broke for dinner.
Dinner was leftovers. After that it was surfing and videos for the rest of the night.
