We didn't get up until at least 9 today. Then it was pet stuff. After that it was breakfast at the cafe. It was really good. Then we went over to the hardware store so I could get something to fix the new hose reel I installed. I also picked up a couple of other things like Stabil.
When that was done we went over to Dan and Patsy's. We sat out in the yard and talked for hours. Dan needed help putting on a boat cover and relocating a winch on his kayak trailer. I did both. He also complained that it was hard for him to work the boat trailer winch. So we ordered him an electric winch for Christmas.
After that it was time to walk the dogs. We went back to the area above the water pump. Sugar was doing a great job on birds. She pointed two pheasants and two or three coveys of quail. Dan's new wiener dog did a great job following us and finding us in the high grass.
When we got back it was time for dinner and football. Ellen and I went over to the Shorthorn to order dinner, but they were closed. So we bought pizza and ice cream from Thorny's.
We watched the game. It was fairly interesting, but Ellen wanted to go home in the 4th quarter, so we did. We'll be on our own tomorrow because Dan and Patsy need to go to the doctor's.
After we got home it was videos until bed time.
