Day 100

We went shooting again today. We shot the "normal" course. It was about the same difficulty as a course at Mitchell's. There were a couple of challenging stations that were really fun. We made some of the others more interesting by changing them to true pair and/or shooting them backwards.

We were talking with the people who run the place and found out that Jason is going to be here tomorrow afternoon. We decided to stay another day to see him. Also, that avoids us having to drive through Phoenix traffic. This morning all three southbound lanes of the freeway we have to take were blocked by an accident. Apparently they can't drive any better in Phoenix than they do in Austin.

Last night the wind blew very hard. It blew the antenna out of alignment 3 or 4 times during the evening. It also blew the antenna half over after we went to bed. The problem was that the bungee cords that I was using were worn out. After shooting we went to Home Depot and I got three heavy duty rubber cords. When I put them on the tripod I found out that one of the legs was damaged. I fixed it as well as I could.

Of course all of that effort insured that we had a calm evening.
