Day 91

First day at the Shot Show. We got registered with no problems because they'd e-mailed confirmations to Ellen's phone. We walked inside the first exhibit hall and hadn't walked more than a few yards before we saw someone we knew. They were folks from Promatic.

Over the day we met lots of people we knew. Folks from Fiocchi, Crimson Trace, Filson, and even Kesselrings. We saw a couple of shooting celebrities, too. Tom Knapp and Evil Roy. There was a guy at one of the booths putting on a spectacular demonstration twirling Colt revolvers.

I saw two guns that I'll be buying. Colt is bringing back the Pocketlite. Also Beretta has a new automatic with a data acquisition capability. Bill (from Crimson Trace) is going to see about getting us a Texas edition LCP.

Because we didn't know where to go parking was a big hassle. It should be better tomorrow because we stopped and asked where to park.

When we got home we took Lucy for a run. It was a very good idea. We had a tired doggy inn the evening rather than one jumping all over and barking to go do something.
