My phone battery died last night. When I recharged it this morning there was a voicemail saying that I had won a set of Ranger shooting glasses at the show. I called and left a message. They didn't call back, so I'll try tomorrow.
We decided that this would be a day of rest. We surfed a lot and then took a short trip to the new bridge that they built below Hoover Dam. You can walk over the bridge, so we did. It's a pretty spectacular sight. At the middle you're 800 feet above the river. That's a long way down.
After that we did a little grocery shopping and then came home. We left off the dog and went to a casino for their buffet. We went early since we didn't eat lunch. It was pitch black when we got out - a little after five. That's what happens when you're two miles from the timezone boundary.
When we got home I started feeling bad. So I went to bed about 8:00.
