Today was a day to finish up a few things. I started to finish the vanity. The first thing I did was discover that the down pipe for the new sink wasn't long enough. Off to Lowes. When I got back I installed the new pipe, connected up the hoses, and glued the top to the cabinet. That's all that can be done until the glue dries.
Then I went out to the yard and finished painting the TV dish mount. I managed to get a little in my hair and on my pants. Then I hooked up a ground wire to the antenna pole. That put finished to two jobs that have been bugging me.
I glued down some wood strips in the living room that had come up. Finally I broke up the old vanity and put it in the garbage can. Breaking it up was fun. Hauling it to the garbage wasn't.
All that's left on the vanity is to hook up the drain pipe and caulk it. That won't get done tomorrow - we're going shooting.
