On the road again, on the road again.
We made it to Van Horn with a minimum of difficulty. Fuel prices have been steadily climbing as we go west. In Dripping Springs it was $3.05. Here in Van Horn it's $3.39.
Gas mileage wasn't the greatest. I didn't figure it exactly, but it was probably a tick under 10 mpg. Of course that was with two regen cycles. Thank you goddamn tree huggers.
Lucy is now firmly in heat. That will make the next couple of weeks a little bit of a pain in the ass. It also means she won't be able to swim in Lake Mead.
We made 449 miles today according to Google. We've got 439 to do tomorrow to get to Tucson.
We're staying at a KOA. It's got a nice little restaurant attached to it. Id eat there except that I'm just not interested. Ellen is making sloppy Joe's instead.
