I really let this get away from me. I'm writing this on Monday and I don't remember much of what we did on Friday at all.
I suppose we got up at the normal time and certainly we did the pet stuff and had breakfast. We had an appointment to change the car's oil at 9:30. That took a little over an hour. Then we stopped at Costco. It wan't quite the Friday madhouse that we expected. We bought a couple of things, including cake and ice cream for tomorrow at Hooch's place.
The last stop was Sportsman's warehouse. I wanted to get rings for the Henry's scope. They were having a big sale, and we bought a few other things, too. The highlight was something I didn't buy. They had a $450 Vortex scope on sale for $200. I didn't buy it because I didn't have anything to put it on.
My goal for the day was finish putting the backup camera on the Ranger. It took quite awhile to install the switch and monitor. The wiring was the big pain in the ass. It didn't help that I made two mistakes. I wired the power to the camera on the wrong side of the switch and had to change it. The second was worse. I was all finished, and everything was working. Then, as I was cutting the excess wire loom, I cut the video wire. That cost me half an hour.
It's all done, though. The test drive was a much needed garbage run.
I'm not sure, but I suspect the evening was surfing and TV.
