We got up at 8, did pet stuff and had a leisurely breakfast. Then we went to the club and hung around until it was time to shoot. It was kind of cool when we started, but warm by the time we were finished. I shot poorly, Ellen shot worse. I still ended up just a few birds off AA1. After the first 5 stations we had to wait for a slow squad ahead of us, but it wasn't too bad.
After lunch I decided to shoot super sporting with Gerry. I really stunk on two or three stations, but again I finished just a few birds out of AA1. This time we had to follow a squad of slow assholes the entire time. There were 6 of them, and one guy had his wife. They all shot slow and spent a lot of time coaching the wife. When Your squad is still shooting and there are two squads with 9 people total waiting for you you're shooting too damn slow.
When we were finished I stated helping Dave. I helped him on about 6 stations and then set up a battue station. The controller was screwed up and I had to take it back to the shed to fix it. By the time I was finished, Dave had the rest done. It was 7.
When we got back to the club I found out that we won a couple of cases of shells, a hat, and a gun case. We helped put the club back together again. They had moved out everything and set up a lot of tables for dinner.
We went home about 8. I'm tired.
