We got up at 8:30 today. I woke up early and couldn't get back to sleep. I finally did about 8. It was pet stuff and breakfast when we did get up. Then we went to Portland to pick up the chain for Ellen's new pendant.
We picked up the chain and had a good talk with Tom. Then we stopped at the pet store for a treat for Lucy, and the coffee shop for a $5 cup of coffee.
We called John to see if Patty was accepting visitors. She's too sick from yesterday's surgery, so we didn't go there. Instead we stopped at Fisherman's Marine just to look around. They had a great sale on sandals and Ellen bought a pair. We also got a better case for her AR.
On the way back we stopped in Wilsonville at Freddies and Fry's just to kill time. Of course we found some small items to buy at both. We also had lunch at Wankers.
When we got back we went to the club to socialize. There were no customers, probably because of the torrential rain. Of course I couldn't patch the shed roof, so we just hung out and talked.
We went out to dinner with Dave and Vandy. We went to a place in downtown Salem where you order small plates of food to share. It was pretty good.
We didn't get home until 9. The rest of the evening was surfing.
