Day 716

We didn't get up until 8:30, it was cold and the bed was warm.  After pet stuff, breakfast, and a little surfing we left for Portland.

We stopped at Jones and Jones and picked up my necklace, new earrings, new pendant, and new ring.  The earrings and pendant came out really nice.  The ring is spectacular.  The color change garnets really make the piece.  We were going to buy a chain for the pendant, but Tom didn't have the right size/shape.  He's ordering one and it will be here tomorrow.  We'll pick it up on Saturday.

After that we went to the pet store to buy Lucy a treat and Burgerville to buy lunch.

Then we went to John and Patty's.  We talked with them for awhile and then it was time to go to the dentist.  The dentist let us bring Lucy inside.  She was great.  She just laid on the floor while I got my teeth cleaned.

We went back to John and Patty's and ordered dinner.  We went out to pick it up.  Ellen got it while I took Lucy to the pet store next door and bought her a couple of more treats.  Then it was back to John and Patty's for dinner and more talk.

We left about 8 in order to miss the paving backup.

The rest of the evening was surfing.
