We got up a little after 8 today. After breakfast, pet stuff, and some surfing I went out to the shed to install the lights I'd bought. That went fairly well, but it still took 2 hours.
It was too early for lunch, so I got out the 10/22. I disassembled it (thanks youtube), and gave it a thorough bath. I coated every surface with Seal. I also blew out the trigger and oiled it. When I put it back together I functioned checked it. I really don't know how it could eject an empty and not reset the trigger. Oh well.
After that I had breakfast and did a little surfing. Then we went to the post office. My Texas upper was there. We also stopped at Bi-mart for some gun cleaning supplies and Safeway for some milk and cereal.
When we got home I installed the upper receiver parts in the Texas receiver. I needed youtube to do that, too. The rest of the afternoon was surfing.
The evening was two Monday night football games. That's when I discovered I hadn't written any entries since last Thursday. It took most of the third period of the second game to catch up.
