Day 843

We woke up about 7 today and played around.  I couldn't get it up, but I did get Ellen off.  Then we got up and did the pet stuff.  Instead of breakfast we went to the donut shop by the vet.  We had a donut and a kolache.  It was really good.  The pet store was just down the street, so we stopped to get the cat food I forgot to buy yesterday.

Then we went to the Range to see the Ferrari's.  They were really cool.  There was even one with a back seat - sort of like a Panamera.  There was also a rare one from the early sixties that apparently was worth millions.  The funny thing was there was one Lamborghini.  It outclassed all of the Ferrari's.

We went inside to window shop.  I saw the gunsmith, who said he could pin and weld my barrel if I bought it in today.  So we left there, stopped at the post office, and went home.  I got the barrel and flash hider and drove back.  Ellen stayed at home because her asshole was giving her fits.

When I got to the Range the gunsmith asked it I'd brought the barrel nut.  I hadn't.  So back home to get it.  This time Ellen came with me.  I left everything with the gunsmith.  The guy really likes to talk, and we spent at least half an hour or more bullshitting.  It was fun.

When we were done we went to Belterra.  Did I mention that traffic sucked on both of the trips home?  When we got there we went to the ACE hardware.  It's an interesting place - half hardware store and half home store.  It does have a lot of hardware.  I'll be going there instead of Home Depot and Lowe's.  It was almost 3 and neither of us had had lunch.  There was a burger place open, so we ate there.  It was OK, nothing special.

When we got home Ellen took Lola's birthday present over - a Starbuck's card.  Apparently she's hook on it.  I went home and fed the pets.

The evening was surfing, TV, and reading.
