The day started out well. The power was on. It was cold and rain was causing ice to still form. It wasn't much though, so I went outside to clean up a little of the mess. I'd only been working a little while when Ellen came out to say that the power was off again. I did a little more and then came back in.
The rest of the day was dark and cold. The power never did come back on even though PEC's website said it would. We couldn't surf much because we didn't have battery. I ended up reading a SciFi novel. Cooper and I spent a lot of time in the recliner under a blanket.
We slept fully clothed with the heavy quilt on the bed it was pretty comfortable.
