I woke up at 7:30, played games for a while, and then got up for pet stuff and breakfast. The it was outside to continue cleaning up the fallen trees and limbs.
Today's target was the area around the well head and well house. One of the trees had been uprooted and two others had lost some big branches. The chainsaw made quick work of all of the large branches and the tree trunk. There was still a lot to haul off. I lost count, but there was at least 10 loads of stuff. Ellen speeded up things by using the sawsall. She did almost all of the cutting except for the chainsaw work.
We finished a little after noon - about 3+ hours of work. The place looks a lot better now. I was really tired, but not as tired as yesterday. After a little surfing I had lunch and then took a shower. After the shower we did errands. We stopped at HEB for some needed stuff and then got the mail. Then it was home for surfing and videos.
I also took a little time to look over the work left to do. The other uprooted tree and the limbs on the doll house look straightforward, but it's still going to be work. The limbs in the corner of the back yard are going to be a lot of work. Dog proofing the backyard fence is going to be another big job. The existing gates need work and I have to build on for the deck. I also have to put chicken wire on the deck railings. The big job will be lining the bottom of all of the fence with rocks so the dog can't dig it's way out.
Over the last couple of weeks Cooper has started to chew on all of the stuffed animals. He's done some major damage. I bought him a toy today, but he doesn't seem to like it. Figures.
We have to take the car in tomorrow. That will put a dent in the tree work plans. I should be able to get a little done in the morning, but not much.
