The power was still out. It didn't come on all day. I spent the morning reading in the cold. About 11 I drove Ellen to Belterra. I had to cut part of a tree down before we could leave.
I tried to find a place to eat and charge devices while Ellen was at therapy. Dunkin Donuts was closed. Torchy's was packed - no spaces in the parking lot and no tables inside. I ended up at the BBQ place. I paid $22 for a sandwich, fries, and a drink. At least there was a place to charge devices.
Ellen came over when she was done and ordered lunch. We sat there for a long time trying to get electrons into our devices. It was slow work. We left at about 2, back to the cod and dark house.
The rest of the day was a repeat of yesterday. Sitting under a blanket with Cooper and reading.
