I woke up at 6 and by 6:15 I was driving Hooch to the airport. I got him there in half an hour. Then I drove back home, did the pet stuff, and had breakfast. It was cold, 44, so after that I surfed for a while.
Ellen had a first aid course at the club in the morning. When she left for that I left for CVS to get some pills. When I got home it had warmed up a little bit, so I started some work.
I cut some dead branches that had broken off and stuck in a tree by the garage. We'd missed them before. Then I did the same thing with some in the back yard. The ones in the back yard were pretty large. Then it was on to fixing the gap in the large gate. I used a 4x4 attached to the gate post with plumber's tape.
The last job was stringing a new cable at the top of the fence by the house. That way Ellen can attach the sagging fencing to it. All of the items took about 2 hours. That's as much work as I wanted to put in today.
Ellen came home about the time I was finished. We ate lunch and then surfed and/or watched videos. I got bored about 3:30, so we left to get cat food. We also stopped at the pizza place next door to order dinner.
When we got home I watched 1.5 movies. The second one was 2.5 hours long and I only got an hour in before I timed out on movie watching.
The rest of the evening was videos.
We figured out today that the puppy will be ready in about 3 weeks. That's how long we have to collect and plant a lot of rocks.
