Today started off really slow. When the alarm went off I turned over and went back to sleep. When I did wake up I played Minions until 10. Then I got up, did the pet stuff, and had breakfast.
Then I changed gears. I went outside and put strings on the shelter foundation to measure how big the walls needed to be. Then I went to the garage and got out the miter saw. I cut all of the boards needed for the walls. I started to assemble them, but didn't get far because I only had about 10 screws.
So it was off to Lowe's for screws. We stopped at the Kolache place that we'd been wanting to go to. Their stuff was pretty good, but I was disappointed in the "sausage and cheese" one. The sausage was really a hot dog.
When we got back I went back to work assembling the walls. I finished all four of them. I took them out to the foundation for a test fit. Of course I'd mis-measured the short set of walls. It's OK though, the error isn't enough to matter. I quit at 5. I was at a stopping point and I was tired. The framing stuff is kind of fun. You get to see some real progress as you do things.
I think I've figured out how to assemble the walls without needed Ellen's help. We'll see tomorrow.
After some dinner and surfing I watched the football game.
