Day 375

I went back to sleep for half an hour when the alarm went off.  Then I started playing Minions.  It was 10 before I was ready to do the pet stuff and eat breakfast.

After that I went out to finish the stuff I was working on yesterday.  I replaced the screws on the well house door latch with bolts.  Now it latches securely.  That took longer than it should have.  In fact, everything I worked on today seemed to fight me.

After the latch was finished I painted the pump shelter door.  The new paint looks like a really close match to the well house color.  Then I went out to put masking tape on the shelter.  I had run out of the tape I used yesterday, and the damn new tape wouldn't stick.  I had two types, and neither would stick.  Like I said, everything was fighting me.

I ended up painting the shelter leaving a small strip bordering each trim strip.  When I was finished I asked Ellen to cut it in.  I guess the chemo has gotten to her.  She did a really shitty job.  It was so shitty that I took over after she wrecked three sides of the shelter.  I'll have to repaint the trim on those sides tomorrow.  After that the only things left to do are hang the door, put on the roof, and put on the shingles.

I was hot, tired, and sweaty by the time I finished.  I went inside, played some Minions, did some surfing, and ate lunch.  The dog was really disappointed that we hadn't done anything interesting.  So about 3 I took her to the back and threw the bumper.  It's nice that that area doesn't have stickers.  After that I took a shower.

The rest of the day was surfing.  After dinner I did some reading.  Ellen watched a bunch of chick shows.  We also watched a zombie show that we'd taped.
