Day 372

We got up at 7:15 this morning.  I did the pet stuff and ate breakfast.  We put the pets away and left for Liberty Hill.  The drive up was uneventful and took about an hour.  We got there just before 9.  I think we waited a minute or two before they opened the gate.

We stayed until about 3.  Their were all sorts of opportunities to shoot different guns.  I shot several that I hadn't before.  I also got to try 300 BLK and 7.63 AR's for the first time.  I even shot a Tavor.  It's an interesting gun.  I probably would have bought a MPX if they had one.  I've cooled off now and I don't think I will.  I definitely will buy a R51.

Being a VIP meant that lot's of time we didn't have to wait very long.  On other stands there were more VIP's than regular people.

Ellen shot a STI that she really liked.  I suspect we may buy one.  I also got a chance to shoot both the 9mm and .45 PPQ's.  That will probably be my Christmas gun.

The day was pleasant.  It was partly cloudy with a nice breeze.  That kept the temperature down.  We ate their free lunch.  It was pretty good, but I think the roach coaches were better.

All in all it was a fun day.  We had enough fun that we're going to go back tomorrow morning.  We won't stay as long, but the firts hour with only VIP's is nice.

We got home about 4.  There were a couple of short delays along the way.

In the evening I played Minions and we watched a very weird western zombie movie.
