Day 378

We got up at 6:15 today.  After pet stuff and breakfast we left for the shoot.  It was at a game preserve on the other side of I35 across from Buda.

It was fun.  I got to work a shoot.  I missed it.  I helped with the orientation and got the women doing the flurry set up.  Ellen and I did the mulligans.  That meant that we sat around until everyone was finished shooting.  Then each squad came through with each shooter shooting up to 4 mulligans.  Of course that meant we were the last people off the course.

Lucy came along, but she didn't get to do anything.  The preserve itself was amazing.  They had a lot of African animals including hippos, rhinos, giraffes, and several kinds of plains game.  It was really kind of neat.

It was cold in the morning and only up to 70 or so with a stiff wind.  We wore long pants and sweat shirts.  We would have been in t-shirts if we were in Oregon.

We were done about noon.  We ate lunch there (the food was so-so) and then left.  We went straight home.

When we got home I went out to do some reloading.  I ran 250 rounds back through the reloader to shorten them.  Then I loaded another 100 rounds.  It took quite awhile because the loader kept fouling up.  It's not really the loader's fault.  I need a more stable table.

The rest of the day was surfing, reading, and watching a movie.
