I got up again when the alarm went off. I did a little Minions and then got up to do the pet stuff and have breakfast. As soon as I was done with that I went out to work on the shelter.
I completed putting the flashing on the roof. Then I cut and attached the 6 pieces of trim. In a perfect world I would have painted the trim next. Unfortunately it was supposed to rain today. So I went up on as cleanup crusade instead.
I put the tools away and swept up all of the sawdust in the garage. I also stacked all of the remaining 2x4's against the wall and secured them with a bungee cord. I put the moving blankets above the tool cabinet. That's a better place for them anyway. Finally, I took the remaining panels and leaned them up outside the well house. I covered them with a tarp to protect them.
I still hadn't worked that long, so I went to the well house and hauled out the panels ans sheet rock that had been left there. The panels were trashed and the sheet rock was warped. So I cut them all up into pieces and put them in the garage can. I also swept the place out. It was filthy. Finally I took the metal can that Jeff wanted over to his place.
By then it was noon and I decided to call it a day. Besides, I didn't have anything else to do.
After an hour or so of surfing and lunch I took a shower. Then we went to do some errands. Lucy REALLY wanted to go. We went to the post office and then to HEB for some groceries. We also stopped at Circle C to run the dog. She did 13 retrieves, which was OK. The last stop was for gas so we won't have to worry about it this weekend.
When we got home I did some more surfing and Minions. It did rain a little, just enough to wreck the paint if I'd tried to do it.
The evening was watching random TV shows and reading.
