Day 1666

I woke up at 7 today and played games until a little after 8.  Then it was pet stuff and breakfast.  After breakfast it was clean up the house day.

Ellen started by vacuuming the bedroom and cleaning the bathroom.  I started by sweeping out the cat room and pantry.  Then I went to work on the kitchen cabinets and sink.  They were really heavy and it took quite awhile.

Ellen got sidetracked taking things to the trailer.  I was kind of pissed, since she should have done that yesterday.  When I was finished in the kitchen I took over vacuuming.  I did the rest of the house.  By the time I was done Ellen had quit taking stuff to the trailer.  I told her she won the scrub the kitchen floor job.  She did that while I cleaned the kitchen table and the bar counter.  When those were done we had a clean house.

After that it was lunch - leftovers.  We have made a dent in eating the food in the fridge the last few days.  After a little surfing I went back to Lego.  I finished part 2, which used up all of the bag 1 parts.  It took a little more work than I wanted to do today, but I wanted to get to that stage so I could put the bag 2 parts in the parts boxes.

I sorted the bag 2 parts.  Then I tested the truck.  It's not finished, but its running gear is complete.  It worked fine.  Then I took it and the parts boxes out to the trailer.  I'll finish the truck in Salem.

We took a short trip to HEB and CVS.  Ellen had to pick up some drugs and I wanted to drive the truck far enough to get it up to operating temperature.

When we got back Ellen called Dan and Patsy.  We wanted to make sure they wanted to see us.  They do.  They said it's been cold and raining.  We're going to freeze.  This evening I went out with the garbage.  It was 80 and I thought it was cool.

Ellen fixed stir fry for dinner.  She burnt it a little.  After dinner was mostly TV and games.
