I stayed in bed for quite awhile today. There was nothing to do in terms of projects and we couldn't go anywhere because in the afternoon we had an oil change appointment. So, after breakfast, that meant videos. Lots and lots of videos.
The appointment was at 2, so we left a little after 1. Traffic was OK, and moving really quickly. That meant we got there about 15 minutes early.
The service guy said it would take a while because there was a software update to do. While we waited I went over to get a spare MAP sensor for the truck. The first guy said the truck didn't have one. Bullshit. I looked it up on my tablet and found the part number. I went back and talked to another guy. He couldn't find that part number, but found the number for the updated part. They charged me about 50% more than the part should have been.
I have to pick up the part tomorrow. So I went back and waited with Ellen. The truck was done about 4. We hit a little traffic on the way back, but it wasn't horrendous. Since we hadn't had lunch we stopped at Longhorn on the way back. When dinner was done there were stops at Petco and HEB. Going into a pet store makes me sad. I really miss having Lucy and getting her treats.
It was 6:30 by the time we got home. The rest of the evening was videos.
