We woke up at 7:30, did the pet stuff and had breakfast. After that it was an hour of loading the final stuff into the trailer. It went pretty well. They only thing we seemed to have forgotten was some potato chips.
We actually finished early and sat around for a while before going to Ellen's doctor appointment. While she was at the doctor I called up the cardiologist's office. I told them we're leaving. They looked up my test results and said that they were normal. Unfortunately I'll have to wait until we get to Salem to get the ARA test. Apparently it's important because it will show if there are blockages in my heart.
When we got home we started the final actions. Ellen cleaned up the cat box and packaged up the final garbage. I hooked up the trailer, put the charger on the car, and got everything ready for the pull test. After that we got the cats, locked the house, turned off the water, and left. I thought that getting out of the gate might be a problem because of the bikes, but it wasn't.
The trip was OK. The bike rack seemed to work well, as did the camera. The only sticking point was one of the tire monitors didn't work, probably the battery. We did run into a 6 mile traffic jam north of San Antonio. It was a long time of stop and go. We drove through San Antonio instead of 1604. Traffic wasn't bad and it was a lot quicker.
Setting up the trailer took a while. I'm really rusty. I forgot a couple of things, but Ellen reminded me. When it was done we went to the club. We stopped at a Jersey Mike's for lunch first. After that we drove to the club, registered, and purchased some ammo. The place was basically deserted.
There wasn't anything else to do, so we went back home. I sat in the recliner and went to sleep. I woke up for a late dinner - a leftover hot dog. After that it was some TV, games, and videos. All in all today went about as well as it could.
