We woke up a little after 8. We played games for a while because we didn't shoot until 10:30. Then it was pet stuff and breakfast followed by some surfing. We loaded up the truck and left a little before 10.
We got to the club in plenty of time, parked and walked to our station. Did I mention that it was raining? It rained about half the time. Sometimes it was light, and twice it was pretty heavy. I was pretty wet by the time we were done. It's a three day shoot, so we only shot 68 targets. I shot OK except for two stations where I really sucked. Ellen didn't do very well.
When were were finished we went back to the building area. We had turn in our vendor signature sheets and a ticket Ellen had won. We stopped at HEB for the makings of lunch. Ellen stayed in the truck to guard the contents. When I got back we decided to go back to Freddie's. I like that place. When we were finished we went to Rudy's to buy food for the future. Then we went home.
By the time we got home it was 80 degrees and the clouds were disappearing. We spent some time wiping the ammo that got wet, cleaning the guns, and hanging up wet clothes and gun bags. Then we watched TV. It kept getting sunnier and warmer. The afternoon rotation had it great.
The truck is absolutely filthy from driving in the mud today. I'm going to have to find some place to clean it tomorrow.
The rest of the day was TV and some surfing. I really miss watching videos.
