Day 665

We got up at 8.  John and Patty were already up.  The puppy is costing them sleep.  We had breakfast and then just settled into a day of conversation and surfing.  The puppy provided a lot of entertainment.  Lucy was feeling a little better, but didn't want to play with the puppy.

That's all that happened.  We didn't go anywhere or do anything.

We left about 9 in the evening.  Ellen needed to be down at the club in the morning.

Traffic was OK.  Everything was going well until we got to Donald to gas up.  I pulled into the Shell.  The guy took my card, but instead of pumping gas he disappeared inside with it.  I stood around for awhile, getting mad.  When he finally returned he just stood in the doorway.  I went over, retrieved my card, and left.  I wnet over to Pilot.  It was packed, because the attendants were morons.  It took a long time to get gas.  I think it took at least half an hour from the time we left the freeway until the time we got back on.

To put the icing on the cake, we had to wait for a long train in Gervais.  I was not a happy camper when we got home.
