We didn't get up until after 9 today, the bed was just too comfortable. After pet stuff and breakfast it was surfing. I didn't have anything to do and no projects scheduled.
That only lasted a little while. Then I got bored. So I decided to finally start trying to find where the water leak in the trailer was. Ellen said she thought she heard dripping from the toilet area. I turned off the toilet and pumped up the water pressure. I couldn't hear if the pump went back on because the air conditioners started running. So I went outside and opened the basement. There was definitely water leaking from that area. Soo I wnet back inside and looked at the toilet water valve.
The valve was leaking at the bottom. It looked like the bottom cap may have been loose. Of couirse things are too tight in there to really see. I tried to tighten it, but that didn't stop the leak. I took it apart, added Teflon tape, and reassembled it. That didn't work either. So I got on the web and ordered another one. It will be here on Wednesday.
Of course all of the screwing around made it leak more, but hopefully it will be fixed in a couple of days. It would be really nice if that fixes everything.
It was 1:30 by the time all of that was done. After lunch I spent some time looking at the effects of the hurricane on Houston. The place is a real mess. About 3 I wanted to go to the post office, but Ellen's asshole was acting up so we didn't. Instead it was more surfing and reading.
We were supposed to go shooting with the other people living here in the evening, but apparently they thought high 80's/low 90's was too hot. So after dinner we watched TV - an uncut version of Blazing Saddles.
