We got up at 8 today, did the pet stuff, and had breakfast. We didn't shoot until 10, so we did a little surfing before going to the club. We got there about 9 and sat around talking until it was time to shoot.
It had rained in the night and still acted like it might rain. I wore my Filson vest because it was warm and waterproof. I didn't need the waterproof, but I did need the warmth.
Dave set a good course, it was fun. I shot an 88, which was one less than HOA. I should have shot at least a 90, and probably a 92. Oh well. I now have 12 punches this year. I've got to be careful, 8 more punches and I'll end up in Master class.
I felt tired half way through the course. By the end neither Ellen or I wanted to shoot the super sporting. We had lunch there - they had really good BLT's. Then we put the guns away and went to Sportsman's Warehouse.
We needed to buy $50 worth of stuff to get a 20% discount. Unfortunately they didn't have any shotshells that we wanted. I ended up getting a box of defensive .45 and a pair of 511 pants.
On the way back we stopped at BiMart and Wally World. I picked up the two ammo containers at BiMart that I had a raincheck for. I also got an eclipse shirt. At Wally world I got a night light for the lighthouse thing that I bought a few days ago in McMinnville.
We stopped in briefly at the club when we got back. Everyone seemed happy.
We spent the rest of the day surfing and watching TV. It's going to be nice and cool tonight.
