We didn't get up until after 8:30. Blame the trains and the goddamn airplane which started flying over us every few minutes starting about 6. When we did get up we did the pet stuff, had breakfast, and surfed for awhile. Eventually we decided to do errands. We stopped at the hardware store so I could get the bolts I needed to make the bed braces. Then we did some shopping at Safeway. After that it was lunch at the Chinese place and a stop at the post office.
When we got home it was hot and humid, so we hid out in the trailer reading and surfing. About 4 it cooled off enough (high 80's) to do some work outside. I reloaded the 20 ga I shot yesterday. Then I drilled holes in the bed braces and then went inside and installed them on the bed. Ellen helped with holding up the bed and cleanup. The braces work great.
I went back outside and cleaned up. Then I did my exercises for the first time in days. After that it was back inside to cool off and have dinner.
About 7 Lucy started woofing to go on a walk. I told her it was still too hot (85), but she wanted to go. She quickly discovered how hot it was and didn't do a lot of running. She did cover a lot of ground trotting though.
The rest of the evening was TV, reading, and surfing. At least last night and tonight it's cooled off enough to have a pleasant lat evening.
