We woke up a little before 8, had breakfast (no pet stuff). It took a little longer to get going than I planned, we left at 9.
The trip was uneventful. The fire damage in the gorge was really depressing, but not as bad as I thought it was.
We made good time and reasonable gas mileage - about 10.5. The truck did a great job on Emigrant hill and I really like having trailer tires that allow me to exceed 65 on occasion.
We got to Richland a little before 4. By 4:30 we were all set up, including the Directv antenna. Patsy stopped by to visit a friend and saw us. We decided to eat at the Shorthorn, it was Mexican night.
After dinner we drove over and got the Bronco. It worked OK going back to the park, but died after 200 feet when we tried to drive it back to Dan's.
Back at Dan's Lucy got to meet Sugar. Sugar gave her quite a workout. After some conversation and TV we went to bed.
