Day 737

We got up before 8, then pet stuff and breakfast.  Then we did some surfing waiting until what we thought was the end of rush hour.  We left for Rio Saldado about 8:30.

Rush hour was definitely not over. 101 was backed up in several places, and not running at speed for the 20 miles we were on it.  Fortunately there was an HOV lane.  It allowed us to go the speed limit or a little above.  In general everyone was doing 75 in the 65 whenever they could.

The club itself was great.  It has plenty of terrain and four machines at each of the 12 stations.  We were able to make up challenging pairs at each station.  It was a lot better than Ben Avery.

When we were done we drove back home.  There was virtually no traffic.  We stopped at the I17 intersection and got fuel.  we also stopped for bananas, In-n-out, Home depot, and a dog wash place.

When we got home we left off the dog and went over to the pistol range and shot 100 rounds.  I got the Sig sighted in.  It's fun to shoot.  We met a guy there that invited us to watch a pistol match that evening.  we went home, had dinner, and then went there.

The pistol match was fun to watch, but we didn't stay long.  Ellen had a board meeting.  Before that Vandy call and said Caesar Guerini had a sale on round body guns.  Unfortunately it isn't the model I want.

I drained the tanks while Ellen was on the phone.  The b lack tank was really dirty.  l had to flush it 6 times.  After that it was football and surfing.
