We got up at 7 again today. It was made harder by yesterday's long ride and loss of an hour. At least it was easy to get started because I didn't unhook last night.
The drive was the standard west Texas/hill country. We finished the book on tape that we started last spring and started another one.
Road construction on I10 started just south of Boerne and lasted all the way to 1604. Some of it made for really narrow lanes, but there weren't any slowdowns. 1604 was OK. I managed to do 70 on most of it.
We were unhooked at the park by about 1. I stopped by Walgreen's to get pills and then we went to the club. We paid our entries and bought 4 cases of 12 and one case of 28. We decided to shoot the 28 on Friday.
We had to go back to the park and get Ellen's 12 ga. Caesar Guerini had a gunsmith and she wanted him to check out why it was doubling. After we got back we left the gun off and went shopping. We each picked up a couple of t-shirts.
We picked up the gun and went down Culebra to In-n-Out for dinner. They are still working on Culebra and the westbound traffic was backed up for over a mile. As near as I couild see they hadn't made any progress the whole summer.
After dinner we went back to the park and did the wash. It's Tuesday after all. That pretty much took the rest of the evening.
