WE got up about 8:30 for pet stuff and breakfast. A little after 9 we went to the apartment. John and Melissa had just finished putting down plastic in the bedroom. The did the first complex cuts while I set up the saw and did some minor things. Then i sat until they had the crucial starting row set up.
We started going to town. I cut the pieces while they installed them. Ellen painted the trim in the living room and repainted the other bedroom door. We worked until about 1:30. At that point we'd laid flooring from the door all the way over to the closet.
After lunch Ellen and I went to do some errands. We went to Walgreen's, HEB, Tomlinson's, and Home Depot. The Home Depot stop was important. We were at least 2 boxes of flooring short. I bought three.
The last stop was the post office. That's where I learned that Amazon had screwed me again. I'd selected our home address for the new filter pump. They sent it to the post office. I could have installed it yesterday or today if they had delivered it to where I specified.
While we were gone John and Melissa finished all of the bedroom except the last few boards. They went off to do errands. I tried to install the new clock mechanism for the clock in the apartment kitchen. Unfortunately the pendulum arm was broken. I glued it back together. Hopefully it will work tomorrow.
We watched football until John and Melissa came back. We all ate leftovers for dinner. That cleaned up several things in the refrigerator.
The rest of the evening was watching football and a motorcycle race that we'd taped for John.
