Day 828

We got up at 8:15 today - pet stuff and breakfast, no surfing.  Melissa came over at 9 to finish up some caulking in the guest bathroom.  When she was done we went to Fredericksburg.

It was colder than it was supposed to be today - 50 at best.  John and Melissa - especially John, enjoyed walking through the booths.  I found a couple of things - a Model A wheel and a metal highway flare pot.  John and Ellen bought handmade shoes - $300 apiece.  John also had a great time talking to some of the vendors.

About 1:30 we went into town for lunch.  We were going to a German place, but saw a hole in the wall hamburger place.  It turned out to be really good.  After lunch we went to the Amish place.  Unfortunately their lead time is too long for us to order a bookcase.  So I took the information and will order it in Aug. or Sept.

We also stopped at the jewelry store to ask about aquamarines.  He didn't have any, but offered to look for them at Tucson.  I might ask him to.  Then we went back to Trade Days.

We walked around the part we hadn't walked around before.  John did more talking.  I bought a Coca-Cola bear.  We went home about 4:30.  It still wasn't very warm, maybe 55 at best.  It started raining some as we drove home.

When we got home we talked and had a dinner of leftovers.  Then it was talking and watching TV (Barrett-Jackson and Gold Rush).
