We didn't get up until 10. We didn't play games, we just slept in. Then it was pet stuff, breakfast, and out to shovel gravel. By 12:30 I'd moved 21 loads. That completed covering all of the area left to cover. I'm not done though. I still need to put a light covering over the areas that have river rock on them. I also want to do the truck parking area. That will take another load of gravel. All total this has taken at least 10 loads of gravel and rock. That's 60+ tons and over $3,500. I'm not sure I would have started the project if I'd known it was of that magnitude. The result looks a hell of a lot better than the original though. It's a lot more practical, too. No more mud and muddy streams when it rains.
After lunch and some surfing we took the dog to Circle C. We just walked around and gave her some unstructured time. Then we stopped at Tomlinson's to get dog food and cat litter. The final stop was Amy's. A guy at Circle C had mentioned he was going for ice cream and I thought that was a great idea.
When we got home it was surfing, reading, and TV for the rest of the day.
