Day 1249

I woke up at 7 today.  I don't know why, especially since I was up until almost 1 reading.  After playing with the cats a little I went back to sleep until almost 9.  Last night I had Devyn sleeping on my left side and Cooper on the right.  It was a little warm having two small heaters against you.

When I got up it was pet stuff and breakfast.  After breakfast it was a little surfing.  The temperature was warming up fast, so as soon as it got to 60 I went outside to dig.

It took about an hour to finish the hole.  I had 2 inches to go.  The first went fairly quickly.  Then I hit a large flat rock.  I have no ide haw thick it is.  I pounded away at it for half an hour.  I managed to break away chips, but I couldn't break it.  I finally gave up when I got down to 23.5 inches.  The last step was to use pea gravel to flatten out the bottom of the hole.  Hopefully that will make it easier to keep the pole straight when it goes in.

It was about 11:15 and I was soaked with sweat again when I finished.  I went back inside and edited music until lunch.  It was a salad that I bought at HEB the other day.

After lunch I cleaned up the quest bathroom and did a little surfing.  I really didn't wan't to hang around the house anymore.  So I put the dog in the car and we went to Circle C.  We walked around the park.  The timing was good.  It started raining a little just as we got done.

I stopped at Tomlinson's to get Lucy a treat.  I also stopped at HEB just to get something to drink.  I didn't go to the post office because I didn't feel like driving that far.

When I got home I put away the cat stuff from the guest bathroom.  Then it was a little more surfing until it was time to take the dog to the mailbox.

I fed the animals and had a frozen dinner for dinner.

After dinner I called a halt to surfing and watched TV until it was time to go get Ellen.
