I got up about 8:30. After pet stuff and breakfast I went out to the garage to work on the Ranger. I took apart the back panel. It didn't allow access to the side filters. I put it back together and tried to remove the back of the front seat. I took out four bolts that I thought were holding it. It turned out it was also bolted to the back of the cab. The bolts are probably accessed through the panel I just reattached. I put everything together again in disgust.
As I was checking through the manual for other things to do I ran across the instructions for the side filters. They are nothing more than the fabric covers glued to the cab. All I have to do is wash them. Crap. The only other things to do require the tool I have on order.
I did get the rubber cover on the battery terminal. It took 5 minutes. I also checked the battery. It's at full charge, so the battery disconnect works.
Ellen came out and we checked what size bike she can ride. The ones I want to buy are too big. They're too big for me actually also. So I'm going to buy my second choice even though it's motor is less powerful. I need to buy them in the next three days to get a $200 discount.
With that decision made I spent the rest of the day looking at accessories for the bikes. John and Melissa got back from Waco about 4. We talked until dinner. Ellen fixed lamb chops on the Traeger.
After dinner we talked until almost 9. Then they went home. I played games and surfed for the rest of the evening. Ellen watched a chick flick.
