Day 1880

I woke up a little after 7 today.  I played games for a while and then got up for pet stuff and breakfast.  It was another cold morning, so I surfed for a while and looked for a receiver on Amazon.  I found one at Best Buy.  They only had one and it was the only one in Austin.

The garbage was getting high, so I took it out.  To my surprise there was a box at the gate.  I was even more surprised to find that it had the bicycle racks in it.  They weren't due for another week.  Best Buy was going to open in half an hour, so I just put them in the garage and we left.

We got the receiver at Best Buy and then stopped at Tomlinson's for dog food.  I think that was three stops in three day.  Lucy liked it.  She liked having lunch at the Italian place even more.  We also stopped at HEB for some needed groceries.  Then we went home.

We unloaded the car and then I went out to the garage.  I replaced the old receiver with the new one.  The new one works great.  The hardest part of the process was climbing into the attic to get the old box and put the new one away.  I packed up the old receiver in its box.  I'll take it to Goodwill.

I had music while I installed the racks on the bikes.  The process went smoothly.  I did use the Dremel to open up the slots on the front braces.  I might not have needed to, but it made the installation a little easier.

After that it was back to the house for TV.  Dinner was leftovers from the Italian place.  After dinner was more TV.  Two more boxes arrived.  One was a ramp for the porch steps.  The other was a junction box for the trailer.

Ellen put the ramp on the steps.  For some reason Lucy won't use it.  I think we'll have to show her how.
