I got up at 8, but played games for about an hour. Then it was pet stuff and breakfast. When breakfast was done I ordered the bikes. I didn't get the $200 or $100 off coupons from the web. I did get $50 off from Cliffy's referral. The sales tax was over $250.
I spent the rest of the morning looking for motorcycle racks that I could use as bike racks. No luck. I did get an idea to use a cargo platform and convert it. I was just beginning to investigate that when John and Melissa came over for lunch. It was leftovers, we had a lot.
After lunch the wives went grocery shopping. John went out on the deck to read and I continued on my bike rack quest. I settled on a cargo platform from Harbor Freight for $100. I figure I'll need $100 to $150 more in parts. That's a lot better than $560 and I can get it tomorrow.
Dinner was New York strip steak from Central Market. It was great. We talked for hours before and after dinner. For once the phones were put away.
They left at 8 again. I wrote a long email to John Miller about my ebike decision. Then I went back to locating parts for the bike rack build.
