I got up at 8, but played games until after 9. Then it was pet stuff and breakfast. After that I went back to looking at bicycle things. After looking for a couple of hours at different options I had a plan.
I'm going to use the Harbor Freight cargo carrier as a base. I'm also going to use 4 of their motorcycle wheel chocks to hold the wheels. I'll use some bicycle straps from Amazon to hold the wheels to the chocks. I'll use a metal pipe and a base plate to make a vertical post. Finally, I'll use bicycle clamps from Amazon to hold the frame to the post. If necessary I'll loop a ratchet strap from the bumper to the post to stabilize it.
I'd just finished deciding on that when John and Melissa showed up. We immediately left for the olive oil place. When we got there we ate lunch. It was pretty good, but not great. Then we did some shopping in the store. They got oil and wine. We got oil, maple syrup, and a Texas map puzzle to replace the one the cats destroyed. We stopped at HEB for bread on the way home.
When we got home Melissa painted, John read, Ellen played scooter, and I did more bicycle related surfing. I got an email saying the bicycles had "left the facility". I'm glad they actually had them in stock. I did an order of a few of the bicycle things that I wanted. There's a lot more I need to order but I want to wait until I have the bikes.
John and Melissa came for dinner. We had BLT's using the bacon from Halfway and the bread (dipped in olive oil) from HEB. After dinner we talked until it was dog treat time.
After dinner I did a little more bicycle surfing. I pretty much know what I want to buy. Now I'm just watching videos I find that are interesting.
