Day 3405

 I woke up about 8, played games, and got up for pet stuff and breakfast.  After breakfast we left to take Abby to Beckett.  We chose it because afterwards we were taking the truck to get washed.

Abby had a good time at the park.  We kept waling on the forest paths until she slowed down to "I can do this all day" speed.  Then we went to the car wash on Brodie.

We used to go to the car wash years ago.  It was crowded.  It was 11:30 and there were at least 7 cars in front of us.  I told Ellen that we'd be there about 2 hours.  Just washing the truck would cost almost $100.  For $450 we would get that wash for free along with 10 more washes.  A package like that is what we used to buy.  We bought the package because we'd be spending another $100 on the car in a week.

It was a pleasant day.  It wasn't too warm and there was a nice breeze.  We got hungry though, so I went to a gas station and bought some pop and junk food.  That ended up being lunch.  The truck was done at 1:30, almost to the minute.  They did a great job, inside and out.

We drove home and immediately started putting sealer on the truck.  That took at least 45 minutes.  I think the truck is now cleaner than it's been since it was new. 

Ellen went off to a doctor appointment.  I loaded the cart and the ammo into the truck.  Then I parked it.  It will probably become the daily drive in about a week.

I went inside and called Texan Eye about the prescription that they said they'd email.  It turns ouot they did, but Yahoo had labelled it a spam.  I printed one out.

Somewhere today I lost my glasses.  The last time I remember having them was putting them in the truck before they washed it.  It's OK.  I had a spare set.  The only good they would do me when I bought the new pair was the frames.  However, the last time I tried that at Costco they said the frames were "too old".

Dinner was half a leftover hamburger.  The rest of the day was videos.
