I woke up at 7, got up, had breakfast, and then went out to hook up. That went as it usually does and we were on the road at 8.
The drive up was a little over 360 miles. We averaged 60 miles an hour and 9.9 mpg. All in all it was a pretty good drive. Most of the drive was on 4 lane divided highway with little traffic. I didn't miss the semis at all. We would have made a little better time if there weren't so many small towns with speed limits and/or stoplights I'm not complaining though.
There's a Bucee's a couple of miles from the park. When we got to the park we set up, fed the animals, and then went there. We picked up a couple of things and then went to a grocery store to get OJ and milk. I'm really disappointed that there are no HEB's in town.
After we got home we took Abby for a short run in a big field next to the park. She had a great time, but she didn't get really tired. It as a short run because we needed to catch the 5 o'clock shuttle to the Big Texan restaurant. It's a tourist trap and the food is a little expensive, but it was worth going to.
I was understandably tired when we got back I watched videos until 8. Then I took a shower and went to bed.
