I woke up a little before 8, played games, and then got up for pet stuff and breakfast. Then it was time to start moving more stuff to the trailer.
I started with underwear and a bunch of stuff from the pantry. It took several loads. Then I started on the guns. Getting them out of the safe, putting them in their cases, and moving them to the trailer took quite a bit of time. When I started to put them away I found that on of the bed strut mounts had broken. I unscrewed it and took it to the garage to try to fix it.
The mount is cheap Chinese shit. The post is staked into the plate. Of course it broke. I straightened the plate on the vice. Luckily I had a set of punches. I used a small one to start the operation, and a larger one to finish it. I think that the result is probably as good as it was originally. I reinstalled it and finished the packing.
Of course it was hot and humid. I was soaked with sweat by the time I was done. I kept going though and hauled out the recycle as well as doing a couple of other small chores. Finally I ran out of things to do. I went inside to surf for a while and then watch videos.
About 5 Ellen came in to say that the refrigerator wasn't working any more. Crap. I went out and did what debugging I could. It was getting power and the fuses were all good. After a while the fans started working again, but I'm not sure any cooling is happening. We'll see tomorrow.
We need a plan B, so I got out the high class ice chest that we won a couple of years ago. I also went to the gas station and bought some ice. At least we will have a little cooling if necessary. I don't think that we can get anyone to look at it until Abilene.
Ellen fixed shrimp and noodles for dinner.
There wasn't anything else to do until tomorrow, so we just watched videos.
