Day 3410

I woke up at 8, still sick.  I feel a little better, but not near 100%.  I got up, did the pet stuff, and had breakfast.  After that it was time to start the various activities leading to leaving.

We had a thunderstorm overnight and it was raining when I got up.  That meant it was house cleaning time.  I started with something easy - the kitchen table.  It was knee deep in crap.  I got it all cleaned up with things put away, thrown away, or set aside for the trailer.  Even that was difficult with the fever.

After that was kitchen cleaning.  I cleaned the counters, microwave, and toaster oven.  There was a lot of putting away stuff also.  There was even some dish washing.  By then the rain had stopped,, so it was time to start moving stuff to the trailer.  Before that I took a bag of garbage to the garage and put it in a black bag.  It will be going to Florence with us.

I took some paperwork, electronics, cameras, spare shoes, and some other stuff to the trailer.  I made sure that everything that I took was put away.  I also put away some stuff that was already there.  I put a new battery in the smoke alarm.  No more chirping every time I went in there.

By then it was in the mid 70's and the sun was coming out.  We changed gears and took Abby to Circle C.  Ellen took her around while I sat in the car.  I wanted to spend what energy I had on working.  When she got done we went to the post office.  We stopped by the pet store, but it was closed for Easter.  Fireman's was open though, so we had lunch there.  Then it was home and back to work.

I took an inventory of the clothes in the trailer.  I brought over pants and shorts to fill it out.  I also took back t-shirts.  I had way too many.  I also brought over the RC stuff and the booze that I'll be giving away.  By then it was after 3.  I was sweat soaked and very sweaty. I called it quits.

Tomorrow the main tasks will be food items and cleaning the toilet.  The kitchen floor needs mopping and the whole place need vacuuming also.

Boy, I hope that I'm feeling better.  This is a real grind.
