We woke up at 7, did the pet stuff, had breakfast, and drove to the club. I think that we were the first people there.
The registration was the same as usual- buy tickets, eat donuts, shoot a few at 5-stand for warmup, and then wait for the safety meeting. We started more or less on time. The weather was really cloudy and misty, but pretty comfortable.
We shot with a couple of black ladies from a union. They were fun. They really shouldn't have worn 1 inch fake fingernails though. It made loading the semi-auto difficult. The targets were pretty good. Ellen shot OK and I sucked. I kept missing the easy ones.
The sun was coming out and the weather was getting hot by the time we were finished. We left Abby i the truck with the windows rolled down. It seemed OK to do so, there was a police car parked in the next space. Apparently a lot of police train here.
They had Mexican food for lunch. It was pretty good. The ticket drawing was the same as always. At least half the prizes were things that we didn't need or want. Luckily or unluckily we didn't win anything. The whole thing was over about 3.
When we got home the Amazon package was there. Better yet the refrigerator temperature was down to 35. Ellen went to work on the internet while I went to work on the bed gas strut mounts. The mount I'd fixed before we left broke last night. I'd ordered two new ones and I replaced them both. Ellen was successful with the internet. I still have to reroute the cable though. That won't happen for a few days at the earliest.
Ellen started moving stuff into the refrigerator after she finished with the internet. Unfortunately the refrigerator started gaining temperature right afterwards. It's now at 40 degrees. We'll see what it's like in the morning.
We only have 110 miles to go tomorrow. According to Google it should take 2 hours. That will allow us to have a relaxing morning.
