We got up at 8, did the pet stuff, and had breakfast. Then I loaded up the truck and we went to the club. We weren't in a hurry, so we didn't get there until 9:30. We had a short wait crossing Hwy 9 while the Ironman bicyclists went by.
The temperature at the club was nice, and the wind wasn't too bad. They still had the targets from the Utah state shoot, so we shot them. I was shooting really well today, I would have scored high in the tournament.
We were done about 11 and went to the lake to swim the dog. We were going to do it in the park, but they didn't want the dog in the water. So we went to the visitor's center for free and swam her there. By then the wind was strong and rising whitecaps. Lucy really wanted to go and did at least 25-30 retrieves.
We were all done with what we wanted to do by noon. We drove through Hurricane and some small town next to it lookinf for an old time burger place to eat at. There weren't any, so we ended up at DQ.
It was about 1:30 and I didn't want to go home, so we drove to St. George to get a RV part. We found a place and got the part. Then Ellen looked up a dog wash and we went there and gave the dog a bath.
On the way back to the freeway we stopped at a Petco and replenished the truck's doggy treat supply.
When we got home it was hot an very windy. So we went inside and surfed. I got bored with surfing and took a nap. The evening was reading and surfing.
