This should be fun, I'm kind of drunk right now.
We got up a little after 7 and did the pet stuff. We were supposed to meet John and Patty for breakfast at 8, so I went outside and disconnected the TV and retracted the stabilizers. By that time it was 8, so we went to the park's free continental breakfast.
John and Patty showed up a little late. We ate breakfast and talked (imagine that). Then we parted ways for the day.
The drive today was all on I40. It was typical interstate driving. We had problems at the first fuel stop in Gallup. There were 4 stations that were supposed to have diesel. The first was run by the Indians. I pulled in, but they were out. I tried to pump diesel and nothing came out. I couldn't get to the Love's next door because it was packed. The Valero next to it had diesel for truckers only. The fourth place didn't have diesel at all. I was pissed.
We ended up driving another 16 miles to a place in Arizona. It had relatively easy access and fairly cheap fuel.
We continued on to the next fuel stop which was 20 miles from the Meteor Crater campground. It was easy to get into, and had the cheapest fuel we've found. It was weird because it had two pumps, one for trucker and one for vehicles. The tax for the truckers was 8 cents a gallon more. Guess which pump I used.
We got to the park about 1 (we gained an hour). John and Patty made it there first. We set up and then planned out the rest of our trip. Then we went over and had an early dinner with John and Patty. We confirmed when we'd meet up again and then started drinking. John got out his drone. It's really neat and almost flies itself. The park owners didn't like it though and made him quit using it.
We spent until 8:30 drinking and talking. The rest of the evening was spent surfing.
