Day 589

In honor of yesterday's long, hard, day we stayed in bed until 9.  Then it was pet stuff and breakfast.  We did a little surfing and then left for Hooch's place.  We got there about 11 and the garage sale was in full swing.

They sold a few items while we were there, and we bought a couple.  About noon we went over to Mom's place.  I cleaned up the cat box and then we took her to lunch.  After that it was back to Hooch's.

Dan took the kids to place downtown for a recital.  We helped clean up the garage sale.  There was a ton of stuff left.  At least a little bit of it (half a pickup truck load) will be going to Goodwill.  It was left in the driveway.

Mom wanted to go to the recital, so we left.  Ellen had messed up the GPS, so we couldn't use it.  She said she'd use Google, but in typical fashion she didn't give me any directions.  That made us late and at the wrong place.  We did make it in time to hear Alicia.

After the recital it was 6, time for dinner.  Hooch tried making reservations downtown - Hah.  We ended up standing outside a Lebanese restaurant for 45 minutes or so.  The food was good when we did get to eat.

Ellen had a bad day and evening shitting.  So after dinner we took Mom home and then went to Hooch's to pick up the dog.  We talked until about 9:30.  Then Ellen called a halt and we went home.

We spent a little time surfing and then went to bed.
